MRS ELSWOOD'S REUBEN SANDWICH
Why spend hundreds of pounds on a ticket to New York when you can rustle up a Reuben, pop a Mrs Elswood gherkin on top, and let your tastebuds taste flight*

2 Slices of Sourdough Loaf

3 Mrs Elswood Haimisha or Whole Sweet Gherkins

4 slices of Pastrami
-
2 slices of Emmental Cheese
-
2 Tablespoons of Red Onion Chutney
-
2 Tablespoons of Sauerkraut
-
Butter for spreading

Salt & Pepper to taste

Butter both sides of your sourdough before assembling your Reuben. Either heating up your dry frying pan or toastie maker while you prep the bread.

Layer your sauerkraut, emmental cheese, followed by red onion chutney, pastrami slices and finish with 2 quartered Haimisha or Whole Sweet Gherkins.

Once assembled add your sandwich to your now pre-heated toastie maker or dry frying pan and cook until golden brown on each side.
