About the Recipe

These crispy gherkins make an amazing snack or side at your next meal. serve with your favourite dip!


  • Mrs Elswood Speared Gherkins

  • 2 eggs

  • 1 Tbsp water

  • 1 Tsp Soy Sauce

  • 175g Breadcrumbs

  • 1 Tsp Dried Dill

  • 1 Tsp Garlic Powder

  • Plain Flour


  1. In a bowl whick togehter the eggs, water and soy sauce. In a separate bowl, combine the breadcrumbs garlic powder and dill.

  2. Add some flour to a plate. coat each gherkin spear in the flour, followed by egg mixture them into the breadcrumbs.

  3. Place each breaded gherkin into your air-fryer tray. Cook at 200°C for around 8-10 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
